artwork: what else goes on in my head

Fine art, to me, should make the viewer think, feel and emote a response. It is as much about the interpretation of the viewer as it is about a message the artist is intending to convey. It is fantastic to listen to viewers in an art gallery discussing what they see in a piece of art and how it makes them feel. Some see exactly what I see when I am creating a painting while others see something completely different and entirely original. It causes discussion and further thought. It is an amazing process and reflection of who we are and how we think.
